The Tilted Kilt makes Hooters look downright conservative, so if the sight of a lot of 20-something year old girls in very little clothing makes you uncomfortable, don't go here. Otherwise, aside from the outfits the servers wear (and the fact that every time they come to your table they grab an available seat, sit down, and start chatting) it's a pretty standard sports bar. The food is standard bar food. The menu is probably a bit larger than a lot of bars, but all in all, you can get the usual - nachos, burgers, etc. When I checked in via my Yelp app I got a 15% off the total bill offer, as well as an offer for free garlic fries, which was cool. So, we started with the garlic fries, and they were pretty good - a little bit crispy, and well seasoned. For my lunch I had the veggie personal pizza, and it was surprisingly good - loaded with a bunch of fresh veggies. The crust was a little bit thick, but I think it needed to be on the thicker side due to all of the toppings. My husband had a burger, which was HUGE, and my dad went for the nachos, which were also enough to feed probably 4 people. So you definitely get a lot of food for the money. Was it great food? Not really, but it was decent. Honestly, though, I think the main draws for people are the servers and all of the TVs. It's worth noting that the Tilted Kilt does have food and drink specials daily, and they do put on special events, as our server told us about the upcoming St. Paddy's day event they had planned. Our server was very friendly, and our food arrived quickly. It took a little while to get a box for my leftover pizza and the check, but other than that, it was a good enough stop for lunch.

I usually only come to Tilted Kilt when a group of friends is getting together to watch a game. I've really only tried the wings here, which are decent but not the greatest. The beer selection isn't bad, and they have some pretty good looking desserts. Last time I went they had a yelp check in offer, which I was able to use, so thats a plus also. Always check for Yelp Check in offers!

What can I say, other than it pays to be a regular at any restaurant. I enjoy the Irish pub atmosphere. I'm a Chicago Blackhawks super fan and this place has as much energy, if not more than Madhouse on Madison. The management staff is extremely professional, personable & friendly, much like their bussers & servers. I have a handful of regular waitresses that know me so well that my drink & appetizer orders are almost ready as I walk through the door. Waitresses that never served me, know me and converse with me as well. Especially tonight when waitresses that weren't my regular were wishing me a happy birthday. So my best advice for you? Find a restaurant that you like. Become a regular. Respect the entire staff. Say thank you. TIP WELL. Then you may find yourself having the best dining experiences like I do. Thank you Tilted Kilt Chicago Ridge for years of excellence & great experiences. What do we do now that hockey season is over? LOL!

The women treat them self look there and escort service sitting down with you talking flirting with you touching you tryin dangers you to give them a big tip order more drinks in more food not a family friendly place hide your kids in run

Great atmosphere. Great service. Love this place

Hanging out with a group of friends and we were looking for a place to socialize and grab some food and drinks. Although it wasn't our first choice there were a few surprises. Plenty of screens, although this night they were all tuned to the hockey game. They had drink specials but the waitresses didn't seem to know exactly what they were. We got conflicting specials from 3 different waitresses. The food was basic bar fair with a lot of staples. But the waitresses being dressed in short kilts with belly shirts, with a lot of tattooed exposed skin was tacky. Actually, it seemed like a downgraded version of Hooters. Hooters was our first choice but they had a extremely long wait......This place didn't have a wait......I'm thinking maybe we should've waited but willing to give them another chance at some point.

This is one of my favorite spots to watch sports. Started going on a weekly basis for Monday Night Football a couple years ago, and quickly became a regular. All the waitresses are nice and do their jobs well. As far as food goes, I've never been unhappy. The wings are great, and the garlic parmesan is actually better than Buffalo Wild Wings in my opinion. They have different burgers all the time, and I've loved every one I've tried. They have delicious wraps that you can get made exactly how you want. They even have a few dinner specials that keep you coming back. Onion rings are the best I've had in a long time, and their fries are seasoned to perfection. Definitely recommend for a good night of sports and delicious food.

The ladies are dolls, but my beloved pool table and darts are gone, baby, gone. Their normally yummy "Black & Bleu" burger was bland aside from black pepper. Mai Tai was weak as hell and tasted like straight up orange juice so I had to order 2 sidecars of rum. To add insult to injury, they had rap blaring and GOLF on the projection screens. Gtfo Update: A lovely staff member contacted me and extended an invitation to return, which I politely declined. Perhaps in time....watching for positive changes.

Visited a Tilted Kilt for the first time to watch Thursday night football. Hostesses and waitress staff all very friendly. We requested the NFL network and very quickly the game was on. Food was very good. Portions generous. We ordered the garlic french fries, mushroom swiss burger & the southwestern wrap. Beer selection was not impressive. Overall a good experience.

I was able to take in the sights and smells of this establishment on the behest of my significant other who wanted to patronize a place full of sports television programs and skinny school-girl mini-skirt clad women slinging beef and beer. The location was quite well set-up as were the televisions for watching the Blackhawks; they didn't do so well, but it was quite an interesting game. Anyway. The menu is quite impressive. Burgers, nachos, appetizers. I especially liked their upgrade portion price so that you can get a good serving of the tasty foods they prepare in the back. Our waitress was quite helpful, but her lack of knowledge on certain items was noticeable. We laughed out joyously when we read another reviewer's summation of the intelligence of the waitstaff. These poor girls are skinny enough, you think it's easy looking that good and being surrounded by that much great food? They probably faint in the corner of the bar from drinking their calories instead of sitting down and getting fat as hell like the rest of the South Side Irish gals I know. No offense, I like you fluffy paddy girls! We were treated very well and enjoyed the grub. Cannot complain and we showed our appreciation for it! At the end, it was a good value. Try the wings.... I'm drooling thinking about them right now, and it's 9am!
(4)Jennise V.
The burgers are great but the seasonal corned beef is killer!!!! It is quite noisy & the service is hit or miss, but the seasonal corned beef keeps me coming back, at least every March LOL

Let's get something straight here so we've got no preconceived notions or false perceptions going into this. The waitress at TK are hired for their bodies not their brains. If you're looking for intelligence or professionalism, you're in the wrong place. That said, if you can deal with the fact that your waitress is half naked and (with a few exceptions) has the intelligence of a toaster, the food is worth a trip here. Kilt is a chain restaurant for sure, but they have some of the best chain restaurant/ sports bar food out there. They beat Friday's and Chili's hands down. (Houlihan's still holds my chain restaurant heart though.) I highly recommend the pretzel sticks appetizer. The burgers are great. The garlic fries seem to be hit or miss, but when they're good, they're really good. The chicken tender salad is tasty. On my last visit I ordered the fish and chips which were even better than I expected. I'm not a fan of wings, but my friends all seem to love them. Bonus points for 15% off and free garlic fries as a Yelp check in deal. I love a deal! They do occasionally try to charge a cover where there are events going on here, and this pisses me off beyond belief. I (kind of) understand when bars charge a cover for bands or pay-per-view events like UFC fights;, and I could MAYBE forgive them for charging a cover after 9 or 10 when most people are not there for dinner; however, I refuse to pay a cover charge to eat dinner. Twice I've walked away from this place and gone to Chili's instead because they've been charging a cover at 7 pm.

First, use YELP coupons! Overall the experience was nice, but really i've experienced better... So I went for a late night dinner with my friend. We decided to check out the TiltedKilt. The restaurant is looked very new, clean and has a very good interior. There is a lot of TVs to watch sports and in fact Blackhawks were on when we got there. Sadly, we waited for a long time to get served.... I think they forgot about us. It was after my friend went to the front desk to find out what is going on, we were served.... The waitress was very polite and courteous. We got garlic fries for appetizers and they were very delicious. The burger that I got was average and I was neither impressed nor upset. In DT location they serve better burgers though. It was edible. In conclusion, the atmosphere is great there but the food is average. Hope this helps,

First time at this restaurant. Host wad nice and cheerful, asked how many we were and when we told her, she offered if we liked to sit at the bar, table or high chairs. Who does that!, right. We said table, then told us our servers name (Amber) and told us she would be with us in a few minutes, and on top of that she said if we needed anything she can help. Ok, so then our server came, sorry nice, asked how are day was going, and then asked for our drinks. We looked over the menu, but I had to let her know that it was our first time here and showed her or yelp check-in offer, she then confirmed with her manager and it was go! . Amber, made some recommendations, we gave her or order. Didn't take long, garlic fries were delicious, fresh and crispy. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were delicious too. And my husband order the California burger, well done, yes well done. Aand he loved it because it was well done to perfection, not dry at all, onion rings good too. And before we even asked for refills, amber was already at our table with refills, nice. Thank you for a great lunch/dinner, it was well worth it!
(5)N E.
First walking in our hostess was very friendly and even let us pick out where we wanted to sit. This is something I always love, since I don't want to be right on top of the next table. Our server, was on top of it. Drinks right out, apps came out hot and fast, and then knew to refill our drinks without asking. Will be going back more often, plus they have a yelp deal with check in!

Went on a ufc night and it's just like everyone said, hooters but with hotter chicks. Food was your typical bar food, I got their wings and it wasn't bad. I don't remember much about the place but I did like their selection of girly drinks. I don't want people say about them, their good! I'm from VA so the girls up here look 10 times better 8)

I have been coming here sporadically the past few years and I love it !! I try stick to rating sports bars based on their beer selection, ability to watch sports, their food and service.. TK gets it right everytime I go. I can watch my Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Hawks very comfortably from pretty much every seat in the house. They have a decent beer selection, not the biggest, but it is enough for a blue collar guy like me, but maybe not for a beer snob or hipster. TK fits in perfect at this location and seems to hold it's own with BW3 and chili's in the same shopping center. The food is good for a sports bar, I love their TK wings, nice and sweet, with an asian flair, i definitely recommend trying them. Their nachos with meat and all the fixings are tasty and are enough for three to four people to share as an appetizer. the burgers are good, but I recommend the pulled pork sandwich, lots of tender, flavorful pork, with coleslaw, in between a sturdy bun.. A great choice with a side of their fries or if you like kick it up a notch with their garlic fries.. YUM! I will definitely be back soon with Bulls next playoff run and baseball around the corner!!

At first I was not happy... we were a family of four, and definitely didn't get our waitresses attention like the other customers. However she let my daughter taste the drink, which was great because my two year old did not like the pineapple juice. The manager came over and asked us how our meal was, which is always a plus. The manager definitely has great customer service skills. All in all when all was said and done, it was great service, and good food.
(4)Lupe G.
The place is hardly ever packed which shocks me! I know this place is super popular with my male coworkers & I actually do like the food here, I guess I just don't like THIS particular location because it's dead & they stopped showing MMA/UFC fights. I also wish they had lambics & better hot wings on the menu but whatever.

A few months ago a friend who lives in the area invited me out to this place for the first time. I had never been in a Tilted Kilt before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect other than folks had told me that it is something akin to a Hooters. We parked our cars in the ample lot and moseyed inside. It was a Tuesday night, so the place wasn't very packed. There were perhaps five or six people seated at the bar and about three tables taken out of the whole eating area. We were seated right away at one the pub tables. Our waitress, Sammi, established herself early as excellent host. When we asked about the drink specials, she was able to rattle them off without a hitch, plus was able to provide some suggestions as to which dishes to try. The beer battered clams are fantastic when you drench them in lemon juice. We ordered seconds! As for the bar itself, there are plenty of tv's with the usual sports fare playing on them, but nobody seemed to pay attention to them, as the volume was turned down. Although our food was solid, what really impressed me what the attentiveness of the waitresses. On the night we visited, there was a very small crowd, so instead of slinking away into the kitchen, Sammi actually came out to our table and started chatting away. Both my friend Jose and I are big-time teasers, so we gave her a good-natured hard time, starting with why the beer pitcher has a huge indent on the bottom, so that there is less beer on the inside. We kept on giving her a hard time for about a half hour, and she would dish it right back. After being in sales for many years, you come to read people very quickly and can tell by their words and body language how genuine they are. Sammi is an exceptionally warm girl, who knows how to serve effectively and efficiently. While the food here isn't going to be reviewed by Zagats anytime soon, a friendly waitress who doesn't see her clients as a chore to serve helped us to form a very favorable impression of this place. One final note, if a chatty 5'1" brunette that is all smiles and laughter is too much for you to handle, you'll probably want to look elsewhere. If you're a red-blooded guy that like approachable staff without being trashy, or a woman who isn't threatened by attractive competition, you'll probably enjoy this place as much as we did.
(5)Cristian P.
I had a great time here the food was good and so was the service! But my favorite part was the girls haha the hottest one I'd have to say Brittany... What a babe. But I would definitely come back
(5)Griff M.
I'm disappointed there are a bunch of reviews here providing an excuse, asking for forgiveness, all for the fact there are waitresses there who wear less than your average pub server. Well, let me be the first to say, I can feel good about going to church on sundays, coming home and kissing my wife after a trip to the Tilted Kilt because I know and EVERYONE knows it's all in good fun. What can they say, sex sells everywhere.... I'd rather go in the tilted kilt over any other pub type chain (houlis, applebees, chilis, tgifridays, I could go on) and that is just for the girls. Welcome to the 21 Century all you "scarrrred" to say this place is great for girls first and foremost. Oh and if you like irish fare, and cold beer and sports on almost every tv this place will work for you too.
(5)Mandie P.
The food is always great here and they usually have some pretty good bar specials. The servers are usually very sweet and nice, which is a good change from some other places with rude service. I always enjoy myself here.
(4)Carol K.
Have you been to Hooters? How about The Brickhouse? Well then you know the drill at the Tilted Kilt. Sports playing on TV's everywhere. Bar food that skews male (how about a 20oz double burger?) And twenty somethings decked out in skimpy tops that show tons of cleavage and hip hugging mini "kilts" that leave alot of skin showing in between. Now before all you guys mumble "What's wrong with that?" I get that I am not the target audience here. But even in a place that is geared toward men, I do expect decent service. Let me tell you, these girls think they know where their bread and butter comes from but they might want to expand their horizons. Like the bartender who couldn't be bothered to get me a drink when I arrived as she was so caught up showing her belly button piercing to some guy at the bar. Or the "ditzy" hostess who asked why we were standing at her hostess stand. Uh . . .we'd like a table. . . . . .seemed obvious but maybe her top was tied too tightly. But in all fairness to the place- once we finally got to a table and our server, Steph came over, things got a whole lot better. Our server Steph was great. Smart, savvy and all this after only being on the job for only 4 days. She was the highlight of the place checking on ingredient lists when she couldn't remember and rattling off the other menu items that showed her recent training.. And she wore her kilt well. The food was just okay, but I suspect the grilled chicken and vegetables (pretty dry and tasteless) and the grilled chicken wrap (the better of the two options) are not the mainstay here. In fact- the black and blue burger, the meatloaf and the chili topped burger were called out as "customer favorites". Lunch for two ran about $25 which was cheap. There are beer and drink specials daily with those listed on the chalkboard by the bar. And plenty of free parking as this place sits on the pad of the Westfield Mall. Guys will probably love this place as the service is overly attentive (they actually sit down next to you when taking the order), the beer is cold and there is every sports game on in the place. Ladies, just take a deep breath before entering. The testosterone level is high. Just know that you will probably be invisible in the place . . . that is unless you are wearing your best push up bra and mini skirt!

OK. I like this pub. The food is excellent and the servers are a lot more professional than Hooter's, along with being a lot more fun. I highly recommend the chips and salsa, it's delicious. I did have a bad experience here recently. I ordered the Malibu Veggie, which is a type veggie burger. The food server comes out with a chicken wrap. I told her I ordered a Malibu Veggie. She gives it a confused look for about 3 seconds, then said "I think that's what that is," and walked away. Seriously? No, a chicken wrap is not a Malibu Veggie. I did get this fixed later, but this did change my opinion on the restaurant a little bit. The Kilt is a great place to watch UFC, TV's are everywhere. Just get there early or you won't get a table. Overall, an above-average pub.

Early on in during our relationship, I took my wife to New Orleans for her birthday weekend. As many of you already know, they have this little thing called alcohol and you can pretty much find it anywhere and everywhere up and down Bourbon Street. So anyway, after an amazing dinner at Nola we thought it may be fun to walk down the street and sip on a Hurricane or three. Well three may have turned into four, I can't really recall but it was more than than the intended three. As we literally were stumbling down the street my wife spots the Larry Flynts Hustler Club "Plets coo in dere" she spits out. I think she may have been a tad disappointed as they were showing the Warriors and the Rockets and I was paying more attention to the game than I was the girls. Oh well, at least this made for a good ice breaker and she kept me around and eventually even married me. Not exactly sure what this story has to do with the Tilted Kilt, other than this place features attractive women serving Buffalo wings. I did like my wings, but the drinks seemed a bit watered down. But I can only manage to eat a few before I had to stop. I just cant eat like I used to.

I love this restaurant in Chicago Ridge Mall. It used to be Bennigan's years ago and was always packed when the Bulls were winning championships. There were plenty of TV screens so you could catch the action, and they had a unique menu, especially for St. Patrick's Day. The menu has changed slightly, and there aren't as many TV screens, but the ambience is still good. I love their spicy wings and their amazing salads. It is also nice that they do not require reservations. Go there and watch the game (whichever one you want). Have the wings and try the different varieties, mild, spicy, and hot. Also, guys, check out the beautiful waitresses with the low-cut tops, bare midriffs, and short plaid skirts. There is quite a bit to enjoy in this establishment. You won't be disappointed!

I am very. Disappointed with my recent visit. I am from Scotland and visit the Orlando international drive one each time we visit Orlando. This time we felt the service was the worst ever the girl was too busy entertaining a group of guys to actually take any notice to us, a family of 3. Then when we received the bill we disputed the gratuity of 18% , we agreed to 12% but they went ahead and taken the 18% from my card. I emailed to ask if this is allowed and if this is common practice. I only signed for a certain amount yet they took more. I got no reply from them making me more disappointed with Tilted Kilt.

So on this brisk Sunday afternoon after watching a good movie with an old friend of mine. He wanted to go to Tilted Kilt (TK). I obliged, it is tough going to a rest. that has lots of cleavage and legs showing .....certainly not MY style. I prefer MUCH MUCH less Skin...snickers. Anyway I digressed to the belly button rings. So we get there get a table in less than a few minutes..... hmmm looking promising as I love to be seated quickly. So we are told BRITTANY will be our server..... This is where my love to TK's is about to hit an ice berg and sink like the Titanic. She comes up introduces herself, plops down at on open seat..... closes her eyes takes a deep breath.... and say " I have been working so hard, only had 9 hours sleep since Friday at 3 and it isnt like I went out partying I was working. The sounds of SCREECHING tires couldnt block out the alarms going off in my mind. Why am I being told this. Why am I getting I work too hard sympathy card thrown at me in the first moments of meeting. I look at Joe and he looks at me and she asks, we have a arrange of pops and beers and rattles them off. We order our water and pop and I ask where the rest room was. NOW FOR A POINT I MUST MAKE, it was busy but not swamped.. I come back and 20 minutes later she takes our order. food comes in a good time and is decent. she stops by and does the routine of how is everything as she is walking by. never offers a second drink. not once, not even looking. We finished our food ,my friend Joe, had the chicken tender salad. ( not enough dressing given with the food. I ordered chicken tenders with only fries .... no cole slaw and no dipping sauce. Her comment is..... oh you want it old school.... WTF old school? really? chick your tip is now zero and not climbing a penny. Call me old and see how much money I part with for your skin showing So As Joe and I waited after we finished... 10,15,20,25 minutes and she still hasn't come to the table. So I go to the hostess station and ask for a container for Joe and our bill. The girl I spoke to went and got a container, a manager, which I did not ask for, and eventually our bill. The manager , which I confirm is a manager ( he has a love of tats as I do), sits down and We have a friendly chat. The from behind the bushes like a ninja on the kill, our server shows up! she says" oh you are friends with the manager?" I look at the manager and I said yep old friends. Oh great where do you know him from. Oh from a long time ago. I thank the manager he leaves we pay the bill and damn if I couldnt make exact for her. it killed me to give a tip. so she got minimum tippge. and some advice to get some sleep in which she replied.... Oh I fine. No really your not ...... your service sucks. We turned and walked out. and I am ever told if I return that Brittany is our server I will ask for another. 1 Star for the atmosphere of watching the Hawks game and 1 Star for the food. The rest wasnt good at all .
(2)Ray W.
the food isnt incredibly great just good across the board. Great place to eat and watch a game
(3)Mike K.
My review is short and sweet......great place to catch a game and chat with attractive young ladies......beer is cold, food is just mediocre. NEXT!
(4)Kevin B.
Men don't go here for the food. Not that the food is bad, it's just that it's not the real reason to go.
(4)Damien H.
I've been to several Tilted Kilt restaurants. I often go to catch big games or fights. This is the second time I've been at this location and I can now say that it's definitely the worst I've been to with the Oak Brook & Schaumburg locations on opposite side of this spectrum. To put it bluntly, the Chicago Ridge location is not too clean, has sub-par wait staff and my stomach is still in pain from something I ate. There were a couple attractive girls but for the most part, the girsl at the other locations are more attractive and provide better service in a cleaner restaurant. Also, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not be a creepo and bring your kids to a bar (yes, this is a bar) with scantily clad women. It's wrong on many levels. This is not TGIFriday's.
(2)Nate L.
Almost like Hooters but much less clothing and with little bit of an Irish flavor. You ask me why I was way out south? I had a FCPOA Board member meeting here, that's why. We met up around noon and the place was almost empty. I had the reuben, not bad, typical rye bread, corned beef, krauts etc. Good size portion. Food is something you would expect from a chain restaurants. As you can see it next to my rating. It's A-OK. Not great, but not bad. Service isn't bad, they do come around and chat with you for a bit.
(3)Michael R.
You might think the girls are the cream of the crop here. Nope. Maybe it's the beer...... nope. Believe it or not, the food here is what is to die for. We went in on a Thursday night after doing some shopping at the mall. The palce was empty, with the exception of a few drunken regulars. We grabbed a table and were greeted by a waitress that seemed to hate her job. She took our orders and then got annoyed that I had discovered a yelp deal upon checking in. I decided to order beer and the first pour was horrible so they switched the keg. I am not picky on my beer but this was bad. Then I ordered appetizers and food. The inferno burger is the best burger I have had in a long time. Suddenly I forgot about our crappy service. It is good enough to make me go back and put up with the attitude and lack of attention by a server.
(4)Jan B.
First time ever at a Tilted Kilt. Checked out the reviews on Yelp and thought we'd try it. We had a great waitress that suggested different things. We ordered the Fish n Chips, the Cheese soup and the seasonal mussels. All were really outstanding! The waitress checked on us frequently then the manager checked on us! Over the top satisfied and will be back for sure. Highly recommend them.
(5)Rene G.
Place is not bad......Good food, service and atmosphere...... Yet the music was more of club music... Had the bbq bacon cheeseburger. It was good, yet not enough fries. I would say just a little more bbq sauce for the burger...or on the side.... The waitress was nice and came back often to make sure we were doing well...The restaurant was a bit crowed since it was Friday.......I guess someone couldn't hold their liquor which ended up in the bathroom.
(4)Kristine L.
My boyfriend and I stopped in here for the first time on July 3rd about 9pm for dinner. I was wanting to try it but wouldnt go out of my way to eat here. We passed by and were like "what the hell" Mistake. It was practically empty on the night before the 4th of July. The girls are unattractive and snotty. Our waitress took forever to get to our table and was non-existant when it came to drink refills. The food was not horrible but not something I'd come back for. The menu sucked. Not a whole lot of options. The only way I'd come back was if I was going to be sitting at the bar watching a game.
(1)Josh P.
This place was amazing. The service was great! Price wasn't bad. All the food and dressings and such are made there and not boxed or packets. The service is fast and all the employees are nice. Yeah they look good too. But seriously the food is awesome. There are tons of tvs to watch games on too. I'll definately be going back soon.
(5)Brittany Y.
I'd gone here today *for my birthday* because they have potato skins and I love potato skins and I miss Bennigan's. This restaurant is 90% men and no non-white ethnic groups. I walked in alone because my mom suspected it was "one of those" places to get a carry out menu. The greeters were very nice though. They seemed to be genuinely sweet. Needless to say we didn't eat here, but it seems like a great place for the type of people that were there :)
(2)Brian C.
I like coming here every once with a while with the fellas, and even the wife doesn't mind coming everyone once in a while. Although the wings are better at Hooters, the eye candy is much better here. Service has never been an issue and the girls are friendly if you're friendly in turn and make conversation. Food ranges from standard to meh, in my opinion, but it's more about hanging out with friends and watching the games.

Nothing special. Got sick the next day. Probably because my burger looked a little undercooked. Spent 20 minutes waiting for service. Only reason we waited was because the Bulls game was on. Certainly won't be back. Disappointing, even though we didn't necessarily come for service or great food.

wow... that was so... disappointing, food was terrible. went to the schaumburg location on 9/4/11 with my kids and they didn't have kids menu. too expensive and it was bad $10.99 for 3 really small fish, i think if you put the fish side by side you get 1 piece. fries was salty, i just can't believe there's more than one location. give it a year or two this restaurant will close. yeah, the waiting was pretty long and the uniforms wasn't all that. what a waste of money.

I wanted to go here just base on the fact people either hate it or love it. I walked in and there was a girl at the front desk invitin people in and seated me, that was ok i guess i sat down at my table and waited maybe 10-15 minutes before my waitress came. She finally came and i ordered my food and drink. I ordered a Burger and i can honestly say ive had better burgers at other places and as for the girls in their skimpy outfits? might as well go to a strip club. I dont think this plce has any class whatsoever

Stina I couldn't agree more. We went and I have to say the food was pretty good. But yes they are dumber than a box of rocks or they just don't care. Ordered the chicken sandwich and asked for the fries extra well done . My husband had the bacon cheeseburger he liked it the chicken was moist the bun I believe a potato bun which I love the fries were barley cooked i tried to get her attention to say excuse me but she was more interested in the table of 4 men then she was in a middle aged couple . I finale got her attention half way thru the meal you would think she would after a few minutes come to ask if everything was alright AWW no. When I did get her attention and told her we ordered the fries well done she and I quote and said Yeah and walked away . Never saw her again till she brought the check. It's a shame the food was pretty good but we are never going back the service left a lot to be desired. Undercover Boss needed to do this location .Its a shame not only did she not get a great tip.Which is not like me I was a hairdresser for many years I was In a tip profession so if the service is great so is the tip.But she did not care that her boss just lost a customer sad .So do beware if your not a table of guys service won't be much.

Great place to eat with wonderful looking women to serve you. The food is not the best, but that is not really the reason to go there in the first place. Overall, a 4 star ranking out of 5. Bring a bunch of your friends and it's a great time.

I'm going to start with saying for the record, I do enjoy women, sports, beer, good food, and all that other alpha male stuff too. With that out of the way, this place is a complete bust (no pun intended), not necessarily because of the women, but...oh...everything else. When I go to a restaurant/pub, most importantly I want to eat or drink, not primarily to leer at the women. If I want to go to a strip club, I want to see women, not expecting decent food/drink. I can enjoy Hooters for example because even if the women are pretty *meh* looking, if the service is good and food is good (which lately has been hit-or-miss), then I'll walk out very happy. Tilted Kilt loses on all aspects. Me and two friends get there 9 or 10PM weekday night. It's pretty slow although given the area I was a little surprised. We walk in the hostess is clueless but nice. Sits us down, we think nothing of it. The place is rather dingy and really does look and feel like a gutted Bennigan's, which it was but it really did feel and look like they did a pretty crap job of it. There's a LOT of open wasted space, TVs so inconveniently placed that if you sat in the wrong area, you're stuck watching other people. The bar is tucked away in the back and somewhat inconvenient. First off, our waitress obviously looks like a wreck, plops down next to us and doesn't really give us much more than the time of day. Very unprofessional, doesn't even play us up to win bigger tips. OK no big deal, grab a small bite to eat, a few brews and we'll be set. The draft list is boring and sparse. As in they've got a small list of brews on draft and limited bottle list, not to mention their prices are certainly nothing to write home about. It's like they cater to those that come in looking for either their Miller Lite, MGD, Blue Moon, Corona, or Guinness, aka standard for every bar...and then pretty much not much else. I ask our waitress for something that isn't crappy beer or lite beer, maybe a specialty, craft, or even an ale of sorts, and being in a hoppy/IPA mood that night, she "highly recommended" a Hoegaarden. Mind you, I've only had the beer once a long time ago when I was drunk so I wasn't aware what kind of a beer it was. Now I'll never forget. She described it as hoppy, full flavor, a little bitter. If you've ever had a Hoegaarden or wheat beers like it, it's totally not close to an IPA. Ironically, my friends were looking for something like a wheat beer, instead got their "TK Lager" which she really pushed on us like it was a lighter beer. Apparently either her and/or the bartender were rather clueless on shots and cocktails too, she couldn't remember what we had her ask the bartender if she can make, and told us "they can't make it because they don't know how." She didn't even recognize half the alcohol that was in it (much less knew much more than Absolut, Captain Morgan, and Jose Cuervo). In the end, we all had beers we didn't want, and even when we told our waitress this, she acted surprised, responded almost like we didn't know what we were talking about, then walked away. Mind you, we still didn't get to order food (much less get an offer aside from the first minute when we sat down) but we did wait quite some time later for her to come back to tell us "oh the kitchen is closing you guys didn't want anything, did you?" Well heck not anymore, thanks. She barely even checked on us! In the meanwhile, we watched several of the waitstaff and bussers flirt with each other, literally jump on each other and piggy-back and run around the bar, and a few other waitresses attempting to flirt with some of the other customers at the bar. I've been to several bars with similar offerings, even the worst Hooters I've visited wasn't this bad. We left giving a $1 tip out of pity, went to another Irish pub about 15 minutes away dropped over $100 in 40 minutes and had a MUCH better time. TOO LONG; DIDN'T READ: This Tilted Kilt is a complete waste of everything. Women were just *meh*, servers and bartenders seem to be hired for looks and no brains (bartenders that don't know alcohol? For shame!), service is horrible...this place is a mess. All my colleagues have told me the food isn't anything special and overpriced, thank goodness I missed that. Want a drink with barely dressed (or just bare) women? Go to a strip joint nearby. Want a sports bar and decent food? Go to Buffalo Wild Wings 1000 feet away at the mall. Seriously, you'll have a better time Googling Tilted Kilt for eye candy. *EDIT* I just talked with a manager at another business and somehow TK came up, he explained that apparently all the Chicago area ones are owned by the same family and they generally all have the same complaints about them (clueless management, poorly trained waitstaff and kitchen staff, drab decor and ambiance, etc). It's sad because there's great potential if TK does serious work from ground up.

I end up coming here at least once a week for lunch with some guys who work at a plant down the street. The place is usually not that crowded but for some reason the hostess always sits you next to another group even though the other half of the restaurant is completely empty. That bugs me. The food is typical bar food but I sure wish they had specials everyday since we go here so often. I think I have tried almost everything on the menu except for the full dinners. They do have daily drink specials and the service is usually very good and there is plenty of parking.

Good burger but dumbass waitress overcharged our bill. Our dirty plates sat on the table for 15 minutes and the place wasn't that crowded. The twats that serve u food r more interested in their hillbilly looks than providing good service.

A friend and I were looking for a place to eat during dinner rush, which turned out to be a bigger chore than anticipated. He suggested Tilted Kilt, and I'm glad he did. I would give it 5 stars, but the food was only so-so. However the service was great; the waitress was super nice, and the TV was enormous. They also had several sports playing on different sets. The bill wasn't that crazy either. I would definitely go back when I have a chance!!!
